5. When the DISM operation is completed, type the following SFC command and hit Enter:

  • sfc /scannow

6. Now wait until the System File Checker (SFC), repairs the Windows System Files.
7. When this done, restart your computer.
8. Open Windows Update and try to install the failed update KB5005565.

Method 3. Reset Windows Update Store folders.

  • net start msiserver

5. Restart your computer.
6. Check and install Windows updates.

Method 4: Install the KB5005565 Update Manually

1. Go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

2. In the search bar, type KB5005565 and click on the Search button.

3. According to your Windows 10 version, click on the Download button to get the update.
