How to fix: No Internet in Microsoft Teams while connected.
Method 1. Quit Teams and Restart Your Computer
Before you proceed to more complicated methods to fix the “No Internet” error in Microsoft Teams, quit Teams app and restart your device.
1. Right-click on Teams icon on the Taskbar and Quit MS Teams. (This will quickly clear the cache as well)
2. Now restart your computer and then open Teams to check if the problem still exists.
Method 2. Repair & Reset Microsoft Teams.
If Teams couldn’t connect to the internet after restarting your computer, try to repair Microsoft Teams and reset its data.
1. Navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
2. Find the Microsoft Teams app and from the three dots
3. Scroll down, and click Terminate to close MS Teams app. Then, click Repair to repair Teams.

2a. Then, navigate to Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Proxy.
2b. Under ‘Automatic proxy setup’, turn on Automatically detect settings* and then try to connect to Teams.

- RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ResetIEtoDefaults

3. When the reset is complete, reboot your PC and check if the problem persists.
Method 6. Fix Teams connection problem in Registry.
+ R keys to open the Run command box.
1b. Type regedit and hit Enter (OK):
2. In Registry Editor, navigate to this path:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionInternet SettingsConnections
3. Delete the following REG_BINARY values from the right pane:*
- DefaultConnectionSettings
- SavedLegacySettings
* Note: These values will be re-created automatically with the default values upon restart.
4. Close Registry Editor, restart your PC and then try to connect to MS Teams.
Method 7. Uninstall & Reinstall Microsoft Teams.
The final method to fix the Microsoft Teams not connecting issue, is to completely reinstall the app. To do that:
1. Navigate to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
2. Find the Microsoft Teams app and from the three dots
3. Restart your PC.
